CERTIFIED BUILDING INSPECTOR
Boucher & James, Inc. is looking for full time and part time certified building inspectors to join our Code Enforcement / Building Inspection Services Department. The position requires extensive knowledge and background in the construction field.
Potential candidates should have PA UCC certifications and or transferrable ICC certifications and must be willing to obtain additional certifications as required. Primary duties include performing inspections and plan reviews at all phases of construction for compliance with building codes and zoning regulations.
PLANNER / LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Boucher & James, Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm, is seeking a Land Planner or Landscape Architect with 5-10 years of experience for its Landscape Architecture / Planning Department. The position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including municipal planning; municipal park and recreation plans; open space plans; corridor studies; residential, industrial, institutional and commercial subdivision and land development projects; institutional campus master plans; and detailed landscape plans. The successful candidate will possess good analytical skills, have good knowledge of the Subdivision/Land Development process and the PA Municipalities Planning Code, be proficient in ArcView and AutoCAD, have strong graphics and communication skills and have general knowledge of native trees and shrubs. Position requires a degree in either Landscape Architecture or Planning.
